Removing an SFP Module or GBIC Module

Note For illustration purposes, only an SFP module is shown in the following illustrations (Figure 17-43). The

locking and unlocking mechanisms shown appear on both SFP modules and GBIC modules.

Step 2 Disconnect the LC-type or SC-type optical fiber cable connector from the SFP module or GBIC module.

Note which cable connector plug is TX and which is RX for reattachment.
