Installing Half-Height Line Cards
Step 6 Secure the half-height line card in the chassis by tightening the top and bottom captive screws
(Figure 17-22).

Caution To ensure that there is adequate space for additional line cards, always tighten the captive screws on each
newly installed line card before you insert any additional line cards. These screws prevent accidental
removal and provide proper grounding for electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding.

Avoid eye or skin exposure to direct or scattered radiation.
