LED Label Color State Meaning
FAIL Yellow Off Off when line card is working properly. Turns on for a
few seconds during line card power-on self test (POST),
then turns off when the line card is working properly.
Blinking Blinks when the GBIC is bad.
On On when the line card POST fails.
RX (receive) Green On The port is receiving traffic.
Off The port is not receiving traffic.
TX (transmit) Green On The port is transmitting traffic.
Off The port is not transmitting traffic.
LINK Green On On when the link is up.
Off Off when the link is down.
