2.3.1 The correct questions for product selection
The DS-RPC has 4 power receptacles and is rated at 15amps; some of the models provide access to more than
four consoles. To expand the power receptacles your customer will need to use a product like the RPC4.
How many current and future RS-232 devices will the customer connect?
The DS-RPC is available in 3 different models. The model selected depends on how many RS-232 devices the
customer needs to connect and how the customer will access the unit. The table below explains the capabilities of
the 3 models. The DS74 module has four ports.
