Installation Guidelines
The mounting kit is shown in Figure 1:

Installation Guidelines
Keep these guidelines in mind when installing the mounting adapter:
• The adapter is designed for indoor use.
• Insure that your installation is in compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local
regulations.
• Mounting hardware is not included with the mounting adapter; you must provide the appropriate
fasteners. Make sure the the fasteners you select are appropriate based on the ceiling material to
which you are attaching the mounting adapter.
• Use the correct bit size to drill holes in which to mount the mounting adapter.
