spanning-tree mst max-hops

To specify the number of possible hops in the region before a BPD U is discarded, use the spanning-tree

mst max-hops command. To return to the default settings, use the no form of this co mmand.

spanning-tree mst max-hops hopnumber

no spanning-tree mst max-hops

Defaults Number o f hops i s 20.

Examples This exampl e shows how to set th e number of possible hops in the region befor e a BPDU is discarded to 25:

Switch(config)# spanning-tree mst max-hops 25
