To display the test results for the TDR cable diagnostics, use the show cabl e- dia gno s tic s tdr command.
show cable-diagnostics tdr {interface {interface interface-number}}
Note This command will be deprecated in future Cisco IOS releases; use the diagnostic start command
instead.
Syntax Description
Defaults T his command has no default settings.

Usage Guidelines T he TDR test is supporte d for the following line card s only:
• WS-X 4548-GB-RJ45
• WS-X 4548-GB-RJ45V
• WS-X 4524-GB-RJ45V
• WS-X 4013+TS
• WS-C49 48
• WS-C49 48-10GE
The distance to the fault is displayed in meters (m).
Examples This example shows how to display information about the TDR test:
Switch# show cable-diagnostics tdr interface gi4/13
