Port Threshold
The Port Threshold view establishes levels of
activity that will generate alarms. Additional
details can be found in the “Managing Frame
Relay Networks” section of the Frame Relay
Manger User Guide (2102).
Service Information
The DLCI_Port Service Information view provides
information about service providers associated
with the frame relay network. All service
information is entered manually and is provided
for reference purposes only. Additional details can
be found in the “Managing Frame Relay
Networks” section of the Frame Relay Manger
User Guide (2102).
StrataCom ATM Integration
The StrataCom ATM integration is available when
a SPECTRUM installation includes the Cisco
StrataCom BPX8600 and IGX8400 series
management module and SPECTRUM’s ATM
Circuit Manager.
This integration uses two model types that allow
you to effectively model and manage Cisco
StrataCom Switches that operate in an ATM
environment. StComATMSwApp is the application
model type that supports the ATM portions of the
STRATACOM-MIB. StComATMLink is a sub-
interface model type that allows you to manage
ATM virtual connection endpoints on a Cisco
Stratacom Switch.
SPECTRUM will create the StComATMSwApp
application for any device that supports the
STRATACOM-MIB. If SPECTRUM’s ATM Circuit
Manager is not installed, several basic views are
available for this application. For an explanation
of these views, see the Stratacom ATM Application
on Page 81.
If you have ATM Circuit Manger installed, an
additional view is available for the
StComATMSwApp and the StComATMLink model
type is supported. This additional functionality is
explained in the following sections:

external port management values,
you can use these fields to illustrate
how changes would effect quality of
service. To do this, change the
appropriate port management
value(s), save the change and use the
Port Performance view to analyze the
results.
