Setting Up and Receiving Priority Calls
MLPP Exceptions:
• Will not drop or preempt an active call on the Cisco IP Phones 7960G and
7940G.
• Is not supported on conference bridges or with Cisco IP Manager Assistant
(Cisco IPMA).
MLPP Messages
If a priority call cannot be connected between the parties, you might hear
messages similar to the following:
• A message indicating that an invalid priority level was requested.
• A message indicating that the priority call could not be completed. This could
be because of multiple priority calls of equal or higher value or the
unavailability of network resources to connect the call.
• A message indicating that the called party’s phone is busy and does not
support MLPP.
