All the caveats listed in this section are closed or resolved in Cisco IOS Release 12.1(1a)T1.
• CSCdp99255
The RM7000 processor used by C7140 and NPE-300 has a bug in version 1.X that may cause
skipping or incorrect installation instruction execution. This leads to unpredictable results
including memory corruption and crashes. Software has worked around the problem in accordance
with manufacturer's recommendation.
This caveat led to the deferral of Cisco IOS Release 12.1(1)T images.
