Software Conﬁguration

To conﬁgure your router, you need to connect a terminal or PC running terminal emulation

software to the router. Conﬁguration requires access to the console port.

Powering Up the Router

Caution Never operate the router unless the chassis is completely closed to ensure

adequate cooling.
