Upgrading the Cisco SM-X Layer 2/3 ESM Software
This section describes how to upgrade the Cisco SM-X Layer 2/3 ESM software by using TFTP.
You can copy the switch image to the ESM flash by following one of the two methods listed below:
Establish connectivity from your ESM’s front panel port to the TFTP server where the desired
switch Cisco.com image is stored
Copy the switch image (available on Cisco.com) to the router’s flash and copy this image to ESM
flash through TFTP.
