pagp-flap}
no errdisable detect cause {all | dhcp-rate-limit | dtp-flap | gbic-invalid | link-flap | pagp-flap}
Syntax Description
Command Default Detection is enabled for all causes.
Command Modes Global configuration
Command History
Usage Guidelines A cause (all, dhcp-rate-limit, and so forth) is the reason why the error-disabled state occurred. When a
cause is detected on an interface, the interface is placed in an error-disabled state, an operational state
that is similar to a link-down state.
If you set a recovery mechanism for the cause by entering the errdisable recovery global configuration
command for the cause, the interface is brought out of the error-disabled state and allowed to retry the
operation when all causes have timed out. If you do not set a recovery mechanism, you must enter the
shutdown and then the no shutdown commands to manually recover an interface from the
error-disabled state.
all Enable error detection for all error-disabled causes.
dhcp-rate-limit Enable error detection for DHCP snooping.
dtp-flap Enable error detection for the Dynamic Trunking Protocol (DTP) flapping.
gbic-invalid Enable error detection for an invalid Gigabit Interface Converter (GBIC) module.
Note This error refers to an invalid small form-factor pluggable (SFP) module.
link-flap Enable error detection for link-state flapping.
loopback Enable error detection for detected loopbacks.
pagp-flap Enable error detection for the Port Aggregation Protocol (PAgP) flap
error-disabled cause.
