Troubleshooting
This chapter describes how to identify and resolve Catalyst 2950 and Catalyst 2955 software problems
related to the IOS software. Depending on the nature of the problem, you can use the command-line
interface (CLI) or the Cluster Management Suite (CMS) to identify and solve problems. To identify and
resolve Cisco-approved Course Wave Division Multiplexer (CWDM) Gigabit Interface Converter
(GBIC) problems, you must have the enhanced software image (EI) installed on your Catalyst 2950
switch.
