Installing the Switch on a Wall

Step 3 Attach the switch to a wall. For the best support of the switch and cables, make

sure the switch is securely attached to a wall stud or to a ﬁrmly attached plywood

mounting backboard, as shown in Figure 2-8. You must supply your own screws

to attach the switch to the wall.
