Appendix A Specifications
8-Port FC/GE Aggregation Card
Table A-14 and Table A-15 show the latency value for the various configurations on the transmitting
node.
FC and FICON traffic on interfaces with buffer credits enabled with the flow control command are not
affected by latency.
8-Port FC/GE Aggregation Card
The optical power characteristics of the SFP (small form-factor pluggable) optics for the 8-port Fibre
Channel/Gigabit Ethernet aggregation cards are shown in Table A-16. The optical power characteristics
of the supported SFP optics are listed in the SFP Specifications section. Only use Cisco-certified SFP
optics for the 8-port FC/GE aggregation cards. If the specifications of the client equipment interfaces do
not fall within these ranges, attenuators or amplifiers might be required.
