Cisco IGX 8400 Series Family
This section contains the physical specifications and external connection requirements for the
Cisco IGX 8400 series wide-area switch family, which consists of the following multiservice ATM
switches:
• IGX 8410 (8 slots)
• IGX 8420 (16 slots)
• IGX 8430 (32 slots)
The IGX 8400 series provides the same core ATM capabilities and Intelligent Quality of Service
(QoS) Management features as the BPX 8600 series switch.
Table 3-27 lists the physical specifications for the Cisco IGX 8400 series switch.
