Tools and Equipment

The Cisco XR 12404 Router is designed to be installed with a minimum number

of tools. The following tools are required.

• 1/4-inch flat-blade screwdriver

• 3/16-inch flat-blade screwdriver

• 9/16-inch wrench

• 10-mm wrench (either open-end or socket)

• 2-mm allen wrench

• ESD-preventive wrist or ankle strap

• Antistatic mat

• Tape measure

• Wire cutters

• Pliers
