Procedure

Enters the chassis command mode.Server# scope chassis
Step 1
Resets the adapter at the PCI slot number specified by
the index argument.
Server/chassis # adapter-reset index
Step 2
Resetting the adapter also resets the
host.
Note
This example resets the adapter in PCI slot 1:
Server# scope chassis
Server /chassis # adapter-reset 1
This operation will reset the adapter and the host if it is on.
You may lose connectivity to the CIMC and may have to log in again.
