Identifying Chassis Slot, Port Adapter Slot, and HSSI Interface Port Numbers
Note PA-2H is considered a high-bandwidth port adapter; therefore, there are specific
configuration guidelines that you must observe. Refer to the publication Cisco 7200 Series Port
Adapter Hardware Configuration Guidelines, which shipped with your Cisco 7200 series chassis
(including a Cisco 7206 as a router shelf in a Cisco AS5800 Universal Access Server). This
publication is also available on the Documentation CD-ROM.

You can identify interface ports by physically checking the slot/interface port location on the front
of the router or by using show commands to display information about a specific interface or all
interfaces in the router.
