OSPF Interface Policy Page
Retransmit Interval The interval between LSA retransmissions (in seconds) over the selected
interface.
The default is 5 seconds. Valid values range from 1 to 65535 seconds.
Note We recommend that you increase this value for serial lines and
virtual links.
Dead Interval The interval (in seconds) after which an interface declares its neighbor dead
if no hello packets are received. Valid values range from 1 to 655335
seconds.
Note The value of the dead interval is typically the hello interval value
multiplied by 4. The dead interval must be the same for all routers
and access servers in the network.
