The following example shows a typical configuration for a channel, associated with a 1-port channelized

OC-12/STM-4 (DS3) line card, that is connected to a Cisco 7200 Series Router with a T3 serial port

adapter (see Figure 2):

Router# configure terminal

Router(config)# interface serial 1/0:5

Router(config-if)# dsu mode cisco

Router(config-if)# dsu bandwidth 44210

Router(config-if)# framing c-bit

Router(config-if)# no scramble

Router(config-if)# crc 16
