Connecting Power and Booting the System

Note Cisco ACNS software does not support the use of a keyboard or mouse (PS/2 or
USB) with the Content Engine. However, keyboard and mouse are supported by
the BIOS for power-on self-test (POST), and the configuration/setup utility.
Connecting Power and Booting the System
Follow these steps to connect power to the Content Engine:
Step 1 Review the information in the “Safety Warnings” section on page 2-1.
Step 2 Plug the AC power cord into the power cord receptacle at the rear of the
Content Engine. (See Figure 3-9.)
Step 3 Connect the other end of the power cord to a power source at your installation site.
