Controller Overview

1/10G SFP+ Ports

The SFP and SFP+ modules provide copper or fiber-optic connections to other devices. These

transceiver modules are field-replaceable, providing the physical interfaces when installed in an SFP

module slot. The SFP modules have LC connectors for fiber-optic connections or RJ-45 connectors for

copper connections.

Use only Cisco SFP and SFP+ modules on the controller.

1/10G SFP+ port LED meanings:

• Off—The link is down.

• Green—The link is up and there is no activity.

• Blinking green—The link is up and there is activity.

• Amber—The link is disabled.

• Blinking amber—The link is off due to a fault or because a user- configurable limit has been

exceeded.
