Controller Overview
1/10G SFP+ Ports
The SFP and SFP+ modules provide copper or fiber-optic connections to other devices. These
transceiver modules are field-replaceable, providing the physical interfaces when installed in an SFP
module slot. The SFP modules have LC connectors for fiber-optic connections or RJ-45 connectors for
copper connections.
Use only Cisco SFP and SFP+ modules on the controller.

1/10G SFP+ port LED meanings:
Off—The link is down.
Green—The link is up and there is no activity.
Blinking green—The link is up and there is activity.
Amber—The link is disabled.
Blinking amber—The link is off due to a fault or because a user- configurable limit has been
exceeded.
