Unpacking and Installing the Controller
Warning To prevent airflow restriction, allow clearance around the ventilation openings to be at least:

• Make sure you can reach the controller and all cables attached to it.
• Make sure that water or excessive moisture cannot get into the controller.
• Make sure that the SFP and SFP+ Module Cable Specifications are met. Each port must match the
wave-length specifications on each end of the cable, and the cable must not exceed the stipulated
cable length. Copper 1000BASE-T SFP module transceivers use standard four twisted-pair,
Category 5 cable at lengths up to 328 feet (100 meters).
