Launching the SGM Client
To launch the SGM Client, use one of the following procedures:
Double-click the SGM icon on the desktop.
Select Start > Programs > Cisco SGM Client > Launch SGM Client from
the Windows Start menu.
SGM launches the SGM Client.
Launching the SGM GTT Client
To launch the SGM GTT Client, select Start > Programs > Cisco SGM Client >
Launch SGM GTT Client from the Windows Start menu.
SGM launches the SGM GTT Client.
Changing the Default SGM Server Name
If there is a failure of the IP address or host name to which your SGM client is
bound, you can change the default SGM server name from the Windows Start
menu.
To change the default SGM server name, use the following procedure:
Step 1 Close all open SGM windows.
Step 2 Select Start > Programs > Cisco SGM Client > Modify Default SGM Server
Name. SGM opens a DOS window, and asks you to enter the name of the new
default SGM server.
Step 3 Type the name of the new default SGM server, and press Enter. SGM sets the
default server to the new name you entered.
