from the codec sound device. W h en the codec is enabled, the codec
interrup t CSINT is generated repetitively at 1/8th of the byte
transfer rate and the state of the FIFOs can b e read in the system
flags register. The net data tran sfer rate to/ from the codec d evice is
8 KBps, giving an interrupt rate of 1 kH z.
