6.3 Bluetooth Initiated
When connecting two Bluetooth-enabled devices, one must discover the other first, and
then a passkey (or link key) is requested for pairing (or bonding). After pairing, a
relationship is created for quick connect in the future. Unless you unpair these two devices,
there is no need to enter a passkey every time they connect.
Below we provide information on how the devices are discovered and paired. For a
Bluetooth connection initiated by a terminal or a computer, the procedure of discovering
and pairing are similar.
