utility.
FILE TYPES
Depending on t he file type, a program or fon t f ile is downloadable t hrough whether
System Menu, Program Manager or Kernel Menu. These menus and the downloads
supported are tabulated as below:

FONT FILE
Font files (.SHX) are only downloadable through System Menu.
Font file: Font-Multi-Language.SHX, Font-Japanese.SHX, and so on.
C PROGRAMS
C program f iles (.SHX) are dow nloadable t hrough eit her System Menu, Program
Manager or Kernel Menu.
The C programs at the service of the mobile computer can be categorized as follows:
AG runtime: U8700.SHX, WU8700.SHX
CipherNet runtime: 87xx-VT.SHX, 87xx-5250.SHX
Kernel update: K8700.SHX
Bootloader update: BL8700.SHX
Note: Kernel/Bootloader update is only downloadable via Kernel Menu.
