Over MODEM port via Cradle -
9 Check if the modem connection is correct and secured.
9 Make sure the modem parameters are configured to match the parameters on the terminal. Try
to establish connection again.
9 Make sure the terminal is well seated inside the cradle. DO NOT remove the terminal or
disconnect the cradle before communications are done.
9 If the problem persists, run the IR Echo Test to check the IR interface between the terminal and
the cradle. (see 4.1.3
)
About abnormal response
The LED or LCD seem not working properly -
9 Perform the LCD & LED test. (see 4.1.3)
9 If the problem persists, reload the battery pack and perform the test again.
The buzzer seems not working properly -
9 Perform the buzzer test. (see 4.1.3)
9 If the problem persists, reload the battery pack and perform the test again.
The terminal seems not working properly -
9 First upload all data to a computer, and then perform the memory test. (see 4.1.3)
9 If the problem persists, reload the battery pack and perform the test again.
The touch screen seems not working properly -
9 Perform the touch screen test. (see 4.1.3)
9 If the problem persists, reload the battery pack and perform the test again.
The vibrator seems not working properly -
9 Perform the vibrator test. (see 4.1.3)
9 If the problem persists, reload the battery pack and perform the test again.
