2.1.6 HID CHARACTER TRANSMIT MODE
By default, HID interface sends data to the host character by character. You may have
the scanner read the “Batch Processing” barcode to process data in batch.
Batch Processing
*By Character
Note: “By Character” transmit mode is required when working with iPhone or iPad. It’s
recommended that the Auto-Correction function on your iOS keyboard should be
turned off.
2.1.7 SPECIAL KEYBOARD FEATURE
Users can set the special keyboard feature to Bypass, Apply, or Bypass with Control
Character Output for Windows.
By default, this interface employ the “Bypass” special keybpard defined in
Keyboard
Wedge Table for users may want to get rid of these special codes within the barcodes to
avoid data error.
Or you can enable the “Bypass with Control Character Output for Windows”
function which can output control characters ranging from 0x01 to 0x1F on the Windows
platform. For instance, [Alt]+[029] (GS, group separator) is output after the scanner
reads the 0x1D character.
