Appendix I Firmware Upgrade

K3610_V*.shx STD3610_V*.shx
 For the communication settings, select
“RS-232/IrDA” and the correct COM port for
USB Virtual COM interface.
 Ignore the baud rate setting.
 For the file option, click [Browse] to select the
target file e.g. STD3610_V*.SHX for
firmware update.
 Click [OK].
4) The 3610 will automatically restart when upgrading firmware is completed successfully.
UPGRADE 3610 USB BRIDGE FIRMWARE
1) After making a connection between 3610 and RFID Reader. Power off RFID Reader.
2) Press <F2>+<Trigger> for 3 seconds to enter Firmware Upgrade Mode with LED1
flashing red, continual beeping.
3) Run the download utility “ProgLoad.exe” on the host computer.
