Warning: Keep muzzle pointed in safe direction and follow all safety procedures at

all times. Practice these steps with an unloaded gun or dummy ammo until you are

completely familiar and comfortable with the procedures. Use live ammo only when

you are prepared to shoot. Always use clean, dry, high quality ammunition (of the

proper caliber) that meets industry performance standards.

1. Point de rifle in a safe direction with the muzzle pointing down.

2. Make sure the lever is in the upper position against the rifle.

3. With your thumb, press the upper end of the magazine tube base 90 degrees

downward to your right and withdraw it completely from the magazine well.

4. With the exposed FLAT-NOSE BULLET pointing toward the muzzle, load the

cartridges with the correct number of rounds according to the caliber.
