When choosing a replacement wirefeed motor it is important to get the gearbox position correct. To do this, hold

the wire feed motor so the armature is pointing upwards and the gearbox is at the bottom. The shaft coming out

of the gearbox should be pointing towards you. Now decide whether the gearbox is on the left hand side of the

motor armature or on the right hand side of the armature. The diagram right, shows the two positions the

gearbox can be located on the wire feed motor. The above motors are compatible with the feed systems shown

in this catalogue and many others.
