6.1.2.1 European Zone 2 Rated Equipment
The SONAR PROCESS MONITORING SYSTEM SUPPLEMENT
FOR ATEX ZONE 2 SAFETY provides additional information for
ATEX Class I, Zone 2 installations.
6.1.3 Transmitter Environmental Conditions
The transmitter operating temperature range is –4 ºF to 140 ºF (-20 ºC
to 60 ºC).
The NEMA 4X transmitter housing is suitable for operation in 0 to 95%
non-condensing humidity environments.
For ATEX Class I, Zone 2 marked equipment, somewhat different
environmental restrictions apply. Refer to the SONAR PROCESS
MONITORING SYSTEM SUPPLEMENT FOR ATEX ZONE 2
SAFETY for additional information.
