Installation Manual Page 39 of 49 MICRORAY
The IP-DOORWAY module must be plugged in place of the MS2 terminal block of the MICRO-
RAY interface card
Notes: More details can be found in the specific IP-DOORWAY product manual that can be
downloaded from our web-site.
Power supply with POWER-KIT (optional)
The stabilized power supply has been designed to be suitable for use in MICRO-RAY up to 4
rays per column.
In addition to this, it can be used with all types of equipment, whether electric or electronic,
where a power source in V external to them is required.
Backup power supply (Battery)
The optional battery 12V 5 Ah housed inside the column and recharged by the POWER-KIT,
allows an autonomy of more than 12 hours (Fault activation after 3 hours of consecutive power
failure, if the positive of mains presence is connected).
N.B. The casings of the used buffer batteries must have a HB self-extinguishing class or higher
(UL 94 Standard).
Connection to the central control panel
The connections to the central control panel must be made using shielded cables, twisted and
low-capacity cable (<70 pF/m) e.g. "Belden 9842".
Output contacts: Alarm, Fault, Tamper
For the TX, the outputs of the devices consist of two normally closed potential-free relay contacts,
while for RX they are three. They are used for signaling the following states:
• ALARM (RX)
• TAMPERING (RX and TX)
• FAULT (RX and TX)
These contacts consist of static relays and in the state of vigilance (closed contact) they have a
resistance of about 40 Ohm (max current 100 mA).
They are activated for the following criteria:
- ALARM RELAY
1- Intrusion alarm on Receiver
2- Masking alarm on Receiver
3- Insufficient signal received (AGC voltage> 6,99V)
4- Channel alarm (Note 1)
- TAMPER RELAY
1- Removal of the cover (Note 2)
2- Pressure on the lid to reveal override attempts. (Note 2)
- FAULT RELAY
1- Power Supply Voltage (<+11V )
2- Power Supply Voltage (> +14.8V )
3- Power absence after 3 hours (Note 2)
4- Low temperature (<-35 ° C inside)
5- High Temperature (> +75 ° C inside)
6- BF oscillator failure (low frequency) or RF (radio frequency) circuit TX
Note 1: If the transmitter is set to the channel 7, the channel alarm event will not be generated.
Note 2: Use only for ray 1, do not connect for the rays 2, 3, 4.
