Owner's Manual
❏ Change the engine oil and oil filter. Under no circumstances should the oil
change interval exceed 13,000 km or 6 months whichever occurs first.*
❏ Rotate tires, rotate at the first sign of irregular wear even if it occurs prior to
this service.
❏ Inspect the brake linings; replace if necessary.
❏ Replace the air conditioning filter. (if equipped)
❏ Inspect the CV joints.
❏ Inspect the exhaust system.
❏ Inspect the front suspension components, tie rod ends and boot seals; replace if
necessary.
❏ Inspect the rear axle fluid. (Challenger Only)
❏ Inspect the transfer case fluid. (AWD)
❏ Change the rear axle fluid. (All except Challenger)
❏ Inspect the front axle fluid, (AWD) change the front axle fluid if using your
vehicle for any of the following: police, taxi, fleet, off-road, or frequent trailer
towing. (AWD)
❏ Change the manual transmission fluid if using your vehicle for any of the fol-
lowing: Most of your driving is at sustained high speeds during hot weather,
above 32°C (90°F), driving in dusty conditions, or stop and go driving. (if
equipped)
❏ Replace the engine air filter.
❏ Adjust the parking brake on vehicles equipped with four-wheel disc brakes.
❏ Inspect the PCV valve; replace if necessary.
❏ Replace the spark plugs on 3.6L engines.
❏ Replace the spark plugs on 5.7L engines.
* Oil changes that are prompted by the oil change indicator system prior to this
schedule maintenance interval can be recorded in the oil change log section.
