Owner's Manual
❏ Change the engine oil and oil filter. Under no circumstances
should the oil change interval exceed 10,000 km or 6 months
whichever occurs first.*
❏ Rotate tires.
❏ Inspect the brake linings; replace if necessary.
❏ Replace the air conditioning filter. (if equipped)
❏ Inspect the CV joints.
❏ Inspect the exhaust system.
❏ Inspect the front suspension components, tie rod ends and boot
seals; replace if necessary.
❏ Inspect the transfer case fluid; change if using your vehicle for any
of the following: police, taxi, fleet, off-road, or frequent trailer tow-
ing. (AWD)
❏ Change the manual transmission fluid if using your vehicle for any
of the following: Most of your driving is at sustained high speeds
during hot weather, above 32°C (90°F), driving in dusty conditions,
or stop and go driving. (if equipped)
❏ Replace the engine air filter.
❏ Adjust the parking brake on vehicles equipped with four-wheel disc
brakes.
❏ Change the automatic transmission fluid and filter.
❏ Flush and replace the engine coolant at 120 months if not done at
170,000 km.
❏ Replace the spark plugs on 2.7L, 5.7L engines.
❏ Replace the accessory drive belt on 2.7L, 3.5L, 5.7L engines.
* Oil changes that are prompted by the oil change indicator system prior to this
schedule maintenance interval can be recorded in the oil change log section.
