In certain situations, contact with an inflating air
bag may cause small cuts, abrasions, and bruises.
Event Data Recording
Your vehicle is equipped with an ‘‘EDR’’ - Event Data
Recorder which is capable of collecting and storing data
in the event of an air bag deployment.
The EDR may record the following information:
– Condition of specific vehicle systems;
– Whether the driver and front passenger seat belts were
buckled;
– Condition of SRS warning light;
– Diagnostic code(s).
