Spot Clean
Vacuum The Top
Professional Clean Optional
When stains or spills occur, blot the area
immediately with a clean cloth until moisture is
removed. Use carpet cleaner as needed to treat
the stain. Dab the spot with a clean dry cloth
until moisture is removed. Allow to air dry
thoroughly before walking on the area.
Vacuum The Backing
For a deep vacuum clean, flip your area rug
upside-down on clean flooring and begin
vacuuming the back of the rug with the
vacuum’s beater bar setting ON. The pressure
and vibration will help to shake dust, debris,
and shedding loose to the floor beneath. Next,
lift the rug from the space and continue to lift the rug from the space and continue to
vacuum the fallen debris from the floor. Place
rug back into its original location and vacuum
the top fibers (instructions continued in
“Vacuum The Top”).
This area rug may require professional cleaning
to refresh and deep clean all fibers. Please
contact your nearest dry cleaners or home
improvement store for more information.
Rug Pad Recommended
Use of a rug pad is recommended with this area
rug. Rug pads can help prevent slipping and
sliding on hard surfaces while providing extra
comfort underfoot. Please note: all rug pads
are sold separately.
To continue with a deep vacuum clean, turn
vacuum’s beater bar setting OFF and begin
vacuuming the top fibers for your area rug.
This will provide a light suction, cleaning up all
remaining dust, dirt, and debris. Vacuuming
regularly will help to refresh all fibers in your
high-pile rug and should occur often for optimal high-pile rug and should occur often for optimal
plushness and comfort underfoot. Pro Tip: Do
not use the vacuum’s beater bar setting when
vacuuming high-pile, shag, or natural fiber area
rugs – this can cause damage, tangles, and/or
pull fibers from your area rug.
