ftServer V 100, V 200, and V 400 systems require external uninterruptible AC
power sources. See ‘‘Redundant Power Sources’’ on page 2-1 for details.
The main cabinet requires separate circuits for its two power cords. Special power
outlets may be needed.
Each external peripheral requires separate electrical circuits and outlets.
Power cords should be located out of the way of foot traffic.
The power service must be properly wired and grounded according to local
standards and regulations. See Appendix B for electrical circuit and wiring
information.
Determine the lengths and types of the power cords provided with your system.
See Table 2-1 for details.
Figure 1-2 illustrates the AC power considerations. The table shown in this figure (or
other suitable surface) is required to hold the RSN Internet console server or the RSN
dialup console server and the RSN modem (if present).
