Upgrading the Optical (CD/DVD) Device 6 - 11

Removing the Optical Device for Model B/C Computers

1. Turn off the computer, and turn it over and remove the battery.

2. Remove the hard disk (see page 6 - 5)

3. Remove the screw at point , and use a screwdriver to carefully push out the

optical device at point .

4. Reverse the process to install the new device.
