REMOVINGTHECHILDSEATFROMTHECAR
1.Releasethecarsafetybelt.
2.Unthreadthediagonalstrapthroughtheslot,ac-
companyingitasitretracts.
IftheUltraxclaspshavebeenusedtofastenthe
carseatinplace,theymustnowalsobereleased:
1.PresstheredbuttonontheUltraxclaspsandpull
theclaspoutoftheanchorpoint(Diag.20).
2.Replacetheclaspsintherearcompartmentand
pullthestraptomakesureitispositionedcorrectly.
INSTALLINGANDREMOVINGTHECUPHOLDER
Thechildcarseathas2inserts,oneontherightand
oneontheleftofthesideoftheseatwhereyoucan
tthecupholderwheneveryoulike.
Toinstallthecupholder:
1.Insertthecupholderintotherelativeslot(Diag.21).
2.Pressthecupholderdownwardsuntilitclicksinto
place(Diag.22).
WARNING! Do not place glass containers or hot
liquids on the cup holder as they could harm the
child.
Toremoveit:
1.Presstheleveronthebackofthecupholderand
liftitupwards,outoftheslot(Diag.23).
Thecupholderslotsarettedwithaspecialdevice
that makes sure it alwaysremains in a horizontal
position.
Torotateandpositionthecupholder:
1.Presstheleveronthebackofthecupholderas
seeninDiag.23androtateittothedesiredposition
(Diag.24)
ADJUSTINGTHEHEIGHTOFTHEBACKREST
Itispossibletoadjusttheheightofthebackrestand
headrestto8differentpositionstoguaranteethat
thechild’sheadisalwayswellprotectedandthebelt
ispositionedproperlyontheshoulder.
Togiveyouanidea,thechild’searsmustneverbe
higherthantheheadrestandthebeltslotmustal-
waysbehigherthanthechild’sshoulders(Diag.25).
Toadjustthebackrest:
1.Useonehand to presstheleverontheback of
theheadrest whilstthe otherhand holds theseat
inplace(Diag.26).
2.Raiseorlowertheheadrest/backresttothede-
siredposition(Diag.27),thenreleasethelever;you
willhearitclickintoplacewhenitislockedinpo-
sition.
ADJUSTINGTHEWIDTHOFTHEBACKREST
Thewidthofthebackrestcanbeadjustedtoadapt
thechildcarseattothephysiqueofthechild.
Todoso,useonehandtorotatethehandleonthe
backofthechildcarseatbackrestandthen:
1. turn it clockwise to widen the backrest (Diag.
28).
2.turnitcounterclockwisetoreducethewidthof
thebackrest(Diag.29).
ADJUSTING THE INCLINATION OF THE BACK-
REST
Thechildcarseatbackrestcaneasilybemovedand
adaptedtotthevehicleseat(Diag.30).
Thechildcarseatbackrestcanbereclinedto3diffe-
rentpositionstoallowthechildtotravelinabsolute
comfort.
Beforeadjustingthebackrest,removethechildfrom
thechildcarseat.
Toreclinethebackrest:
1.Insert angerintotheslot on theseatas seen
inDiag.31.
2.Pressthebuttonintheslotwhilstpulling/pushing
therearadjusterhandletothedesiredposition,as
illustratedinFig.32.Eachclickcorrespondstoone
positionchange
WARNING!Oncompletingthisoperation,makesure
the adjuster handle is xed rmly in place.When
youhavecompletedtheoperationsabove,youcan
installthechildcarseatinthevehicleandstrapthe
childinsideasindicatedintherelativechapter.
WARNING!Checkthatthecarsafetybeltretractor
is behind the backrestof the car seat (or at least
alignedtoit)(Diag.5).
CLEANINGANDMAINTENANCE
Thecovers onthe headrest,backrest and seat are
allfastenedwithzipsandVelcrosotheyareeasyto
removeandreplacewhenevernecessary.
HOWTOCLEANTHEFABRICCOVER
Thechildcarseat’sfabriccovercanberemovedand
cleanedbyhandorinawashingmachineat30°C.
Pleaserefertothecleaninginstructionsonthefa-
bric label which illustrates the following washing
symbols:

Neveruse abrasive detergents or solvents.Do not
spindrythefabriccover;letitdrywithoutwringing
it.
