PRODUCTFEATURES
• Thischildcarseatisapprovedfor“Group2and
3”,forthetransportationofchildrenfrom15to
36Kginweight,andconformstoEuropeanStan-
dardECER44/04.
• This approval is“Universal”, which means that
the child car seat can be used on all types of
vehicles.WARNING!“Universal”meansthatitis
compatiblewithmost,butnotallcarseats.
• ThischildcarseatisttedwithtwoUltraxcla-
sps,whichslotintotheIsoxanchorpoints,whe-
reavailableinthecar.Theseclaspsprovideextra
stabilityforthechildcarseatwhenthechildis
satinsideandalsowhenitisempty.
WARNING!TheUltraxclaspsareanadditionalre-
straintxturetobe usedin combinationwith the
carsafetybelts:thesesafetybelts mustalwaysbe
usedtorestrainthechildandthechildcarseat.
IMPORTANTWARNING
1.Thisisa“Universal“childrestraint.Itisapproved
toRegulationNo.44.04seriesofamendments,for
generaluseinvehicles,anditwilltmost,butnot
allcarseats.
2.Acorrecttislikelyifthevehiclemanufacturer
hasdeclaredthatthevehicleiscapableofaccepting
a“Universal”childrestraintforthisagegroup.
3.This child restraint has been classied as“Uni-
versal”undermorestringentconditionsthanthose
thatwereapplied toearlier designs not displaying
thisnotice.
4.Onlysuitableifthevehicleisttedwitha3-point
static or 3-point retractorsafety belt approvedto
UN/ECE Regulation No. 16, or other equivalent
standards.
5.Ifindoubt,consulteitherthechildrestraintma-
nufacturerortheretailer.
RESTRICTIONS AND REQUISITES REGARDING
THEUSEOFTHEPRODUCTANDCARSEAT
WARNING! Read these restrictions and requisites
carefully to ensure the product and car seat are
usedsafely:ifyoudon’t,thesafetylevelscannotbe
guaranteed.
• TheUltraxclaspsmustalwaysbeusedincom-
bination with the car seat belts.The child car
seat mustnever be installed using the Ultrax
claspsontheirown.
• InordertousetheUltraxclasps,itisnecessary
tocheckthatthecaristtedwithIsoxancho-
rage points, which will be found between the
backrestandseatofthecar’sseat.
• Thischildseatisapprovedforcarryingchildren
weighingfrom15to36kilosonly.
• Thecarseatmustbettedwitha3-pointstatic
or3-pointretractorsafetybeltsapprovedtoUN/
ECERegulationNo.16,orotherequivalentstan-
dards(Diag.1).
• Neverusethechildcarseatonaseatthatisonly
equippedwitha2-pointsafetybelt(diag.2)
• Youmayndthatthesafetybeltbuckleistoo
longandexceedstheforeseenheightinrelation
tothelowersectionofthechildcarseat(Diag.
3).In this case the childcar seat must not be
installed on that specic seat,and you should
tryinstallingitonaseatthatdoesnothavethis
inconvenience.Pleasecontactthecarmanufac-
turerforfurtherinformationonthisaspect.
• The childcar seatcan betted onto thefront
passenger seat or any other back seats. Never
usethischildcarseatonvehicleseatswhichare
facingsidewaysorrearwards(Diag.4)
• Ifthecaristtedwithanadjustertoregulatethe
heightofthecarsafetybelts,positionitaslowas
possible.Checkthatthecarsafetybeltadjuster
isbehindoralignedwiththebackrestofthecar
seat(Diag.5).
• Toensurecorrectinstallation,checkthatthecar
seatheadrest does not interferewiththe child
seatbackrest.
