Advanced Features
There are a variety of key features for
File Manager
:
•
Delete, move, or copy/paste folders and files, and
create file shortcuts.
•
Sort listed files in a variety of ways (by
Name
,
Size
,
Type
,
or
Date of Last Change
, and by
Ascending
or
Descending
).
•
Search for files according to portions of filenames.
•
Send the selected files through email, infrared
beaming, MMS or Bluetooth radio, and receive files
through infrared beaming or Bluetooth radio.
•
View file or folder properties.
•
Confirm the file you want to replace or delete.
•
Refresh the folders and files on your phone.
When
File Manager
is initially invoked, it is in
Tree View
by
default. To switch to
List View
, press
List View
. In
Tree
View
, if the currently selected folder contains no subfolders,
pressing
Action
will also switch to
List View
. If the selected
folder in
Tree View
contains subfolders, press
Action
to
expand or collapse the tree for that folder. For most
functions, you must first select the file or folder you wish to
operate on, and then press
Menu
to select a desired
command from the options list. Press
Action
to
immediately run the selected file.
