Messaging Features

1.On the H ome screen, press the Programs soft key, select I nbox/SM S, and

then press the

Action button.

2.Select the meeting request, press the Action button, and then press the

Accept soft key.

Receiving complet e m essages

You can specify messages to receive in full, instead of receiving only the first

0.5 KB set by default.

To receive a complete message

1.On the H ome screen, press the Programs soft key, select Inbox/SM S, and

then press the

Action button.

2.Select the message to receive in full, press the M enu soft key, select M ark for

D ownload

, and then press the Action button.

The complete message will be retrieved the next time you synchronize or con-

nect to your e-mail server.

Receiving message attachments

You can download message attachments to your Smartphone. Attachments

are displayed as a list of hyperlinks at the bottom of the e-mail message, and

are preceded by an attachment icon. The text of the hyperlink contains the file

name followed by the size of the attachment, thereby helping you to deter-

mine whether you want to download the attachment.

The attachment icon has the following three states:

• Not downloaded

• Downloaded

• Marked for download

To download an att achm ent

• In an open message containing an attachment for download, select the

attachment and press the

Action button.

When you delete a message on your Smartphone, it is also deleted from the e-mail

server the next time you connect.

On POP3 messages, the attachment size is omitted.
