To read the new message:
1. Press
D etail to go to the list of received messages.
2. Scroll to the message you want to read and press
Select.
Reading m ultimedia m essages
When a new multimedia message is received, new message alert will be gener-
ated (depending on your sound profile setting) and theNew MMS prompt
and an icon will appear on the screen.
To read the new message:
1. Press
D etail to go to the list of received messages.
2. Scroll to the message you want to read and press Select.
You can turn on the Auto fetch function if you want your phone to retrieve
the multimedia message immediately. If you select
Ask me, a notice will be
sent to the Inbox first(See "Retrieving messages automatically"on page 54).
To read the new multimedia message:
1. Press the left soft key two times in standby mode.
2. Scroll to
M ultimedia msgs. and press Select.
3. Scroll to
Inbox and press Select.
4. Scroll to a message with an icon , press
Select for the following
options:
Fetch this msg.: Fetch the message immediately.
Erase: Erase the message immediately without fetching it.
D etail info.: View the title, sender’s number and memory size of this mes-
sage.
If a multimedia message is received during a call, you still have to enter the Inbox and fetch
this message manually after the phone call is end even if you have turned on the Auto fetch
function.
A maximum of 30KB is allowed for each received multimedia message. The message can not
be fetched by your phone if its memory size is over 30KB.
If there is any inserted multimedia objects in a received multimedia message that can not be
displayed by your phone, the names of the inserted objects will be shown on the screen.
