GPRS connect ion
If there is GPRS coverage in your area, you can set up a GPRS connection to
access your corporate network or the I nternet, which is faster than a Dial-up
connection.
Date and Time
Date and Time settings enable you to change the local time zone and the cur-
rent date and time, and to set the alarm.
To view Date and Time sett ings
• On the H ome screen, press the Programs soft key, select Settings, select
D ate and Time, and then press the Action button.
Owner Inform ation
Owner Information settings are used to enter and display personal informa-
tion, such as your name, phone number, and e-mail address. This is helpful,
for example, in the event that you lose your Smartphone so that you can be
contacted if it is found.
To view Owner Information set tings
• On the H ome screen, press the Programs soft key, select Settings, select
M ore, select Owner Information, and then press the Action button.
Power Managem ent
Power Management settings are used to display power-saving settings, such as
changing the backlight brightness and the backlight and display time-outs, and
to check the battery level.
To view Power Management settings
• On the H ome screen, press the Programs soft key, select Settings, select
M ore, select Power M anagement, and then press the Action button.
Regional Settings
Regional Settings are used to change the Smartphone's language, date, and
time style, as well as number and currency formatting options.
