To m odify a profile on the Settings m enu
1.On the H ome screen, press the Programs soft key, select Settings, select
Profiles, and then press the Action button.
2.Select the profile to modify, press the M enu soft key, and then select Edit.
3.Modify the settings, and press the D one soft key.
Home screen
H ome screen settings are used to change the H ome screen layout, the color
scheme, the background image, and the time delay before the Home screen
appears when the Smartphone is idle.
To view Hom e screen set tings
• On the H ome screen, press the Programs soft key, select Settings, select
H ome Screen, and then press the Action button.
To cust om ize the Home screen with your own im age
1.Go to where your image file is stored on your desktop computer, and copy
the image file. The file format must be .gif, .jpg, or .bmp.
2.In ActiveSync on your desktop computer, click
Explore, double-click my
Smartphone, double-click
IPSM , double-click Application D ata, double-
click
H ome, and then paste the image file into the H ome folder.
3.On the H ome screen on your Smartphone, press the Programs soft key,
select
Settings, select H ome Screen, and then press the Action button.
4.Select Background image, and press Left or Right to select your image.
5.Press the Done soft key.
You can also select a different profile using the Quick List. Press the Power button (or
press and hold the H ome button), select the profile, and then press the Action button.
When a headset is plugged into the Smartphone, the H eadset profile is used automati-
cally.
You can also select an image by selecting Background image and pressing the Action
button. This will show you the complete list of images to choose from.
