Media Player can play files that have been compressed by using any of the fol-
lowing audio and video codecs.
Audio codecs

Fraunhofer IIS-A MPEG-1 Audio Layer-3 codec
Video codecs
Microsoft Windows Media Video codec version 7.0 and 8.0
Microsoft MPEG-4 video codec version 3.0
